研究显示，美国人看电视的时间远远超过看网上视频的时间，看来，虽然YouTube和Hulu欣欣向荣，但在线视频的发展还需时间。 <img src="http://www.readwriteweb.com/images/tv_logo_black_jun09.png" border="0" alt="tv_logo_black_jun09.png" /><a href="http://www.researchexcellence.com/">卓越研究会</a>（Council for Research Excellence）的一份新报告（<a 3G成为议论和关注的焦点，并不奇怪，毕竟它比起上一代来，优势还是非常明显的。但比起前两代，3G至今还未找到杀手级的应用或功能。如果没有杀手级的应用，那怎么才能说服我们把手中的2G换成3G呢？    从固话到移动电话，其优点太明显了。电话可以“跑”着打了，这一个功能就足以让人为第一代手机买单了。从大块头的模拟手机到可以放进口袋的数字手机，这个变化本身就能让人们自愿升级换代。    3G来了，除了高速上网，至今还未看到一个让人不得不买单的杀手级应用。我是最早使用3G上网卡的人，但今天还没想把手机换成3G，因为我找不到一个让自己掏钱的充足理由。    有些人认为，3G的主要问题是资费太高。其实不然，三大运营商之所以现在不降低资费，应不是成本问题，3G网络也许是主要问题。现在的3G网络还无法达到完全的商用水准，这从工业和信息化部发布的《第三代移动通信业务服务规范(试行)》中就能看出来。   在尚未正式商用之前，维持一定的资费水平，将用户数控制在一定的数量内，反倒可以保证服务质量。3G资费一年以后肯定会大幅降低。   3G能否快速普及，关键就是能否找到一个杀手级的应用。三大运营商在苦苦找寻，同时，芸芸众生们也在苦苦寻找。谁能找到这个撬动3G的杀手级应用，谁就有机会暴富，即便不富，那也是一代英雄啊！   视频电话只是一个应用而已，上不到杀手级。高速上网有点杀手的感觉，但还是不够。手机看电视，不靠谱。   从目前情况看，中国电信打出的互联网手机概念还不错。中国电信凭借其固网和WLAN的网络覆盖能力，如果能把固网宽带、ＷＬＡＮ和３Ｇ上网做一个有效的捆绑，同时把资费控制在一个可接受的范围内，这个组合也许会成为一个具有杀手相的应用。毕竟，随着手机资费的降低，很多人已经不再使用固定电话了，家里的电话只是一个上网接口而已。如果一个3G卡，能把固网和WLAN全部取代，这个作用应该让人心动。  有可能成为杀手级应用的还有手机钱包。手机钱包是完全可以取代目前的便捷支付服务（拉卡拉等）和信用卡的，如果现在的信用卡服务商Visa、Master、银联能与电信运营商达成紧密合作，手机钱包业务就很有可能快速流行起来。一卡走遍天下，转变为一机走遍天下。 那如何能在未来的浏览器市场找到立足之地？依本人之见，服务聚合能力会成为一个浏览器能否站住脚的关键点。Google之所以敢推出浏览器，与微软正面交锋，恰恰是Google清楚了解自己的服务聚合能力，苹果也是如此。Google强大的互联网内容聚合能力和多姿多彩的服务，给自己的浏览器提供了强大的支持，它有能力把浏览器推到互联网操作系统的高度，浏览器是上网本最好的操作系统。 　　外链之利　　YouTube是网络视频领域的领先者，尤其是在美国，该网站扩展到了搜索领域，并取代雅虎成为美国第二大流行的搜索引擎。但我认为，如果将YouTube打造成为最终的视频搜索引擎，并提供该网站没有的内容链接，YouTube将比现在更具价值。　　链接外部视频可依靠YouTube母公司谷歌的搜索实力，并可有效地弥补YouTube在新闻、体育以及实时内容方面的不足。YouTube在实时性内容方面存在严重缺陷，新闻和流行文化视频片段常常是盗版内容且很快地被删除。　　站外视频链接可以让YouTube在无需增加宽带及存储成本的情况下，大大提高该网站的整体实用性。与此同时，更全面、更好的搜索也将提升其搜索广告的价值，而与视频商业化相比，谷歌在搜索商业化方面也积累了极为丰富的经验。　　对于YouTube而言，该举措看上去可能违背了一个门户的理念，但已经提供外链服务的视频网站Hulu却是一个慷慨的案例，该网站在自已没有相关内容时，会为用户提供到外部网站的链接。　　流量居次　　通过购买更多有价值的内容以提高YouTube价值的做法得不偿失，尽管该网站去年曾试图提高付费内容的数量，但在实际运作中却步履维艰，在与华纳音乐集团及英国作曲家协会PRS 科学松鼠会，是我最近一段时间看的最多、给朋友推荐的也最多的一个站点。这个站点上的很多文章都很具有可读性和知识性，对此我的评价：“专业性、可读性”。   把科普内容作为切入点，聪明的很！尤其在现在的形势下。我相信其对科普的专注，吸引了无数个《十万个为什么》Fans，这种博客，既无政治风险，又紧紧抓住了市场空白，实在聪明。   从形式上看，松鼠会与新浪的精英博客并无不同，但新浪关注的是博客本人的名气，而松鼠会关注的不仅是博客本人，也关注博客内容的专业性。   从运作模式上，由于松鼠会的博客不是传统意义上的草根，“博”的门槛很高，因此，它从一开始，就像一个出版社或者杂志社，而不同于一般的博客。专业的人写专业的事，所以，它以如此快的速度出版了一本书《当彩色的声音尝起来是甜的》，就不足为奇了。
